When you think of Long Island, you think of Amy Fisher.

The past and the present, tabloid celebs and porn celebs, and the East Coast and West Coast converge in Amy Fisher’s pants. But she only comes to the West Coast to be on TV and in porn movies.

“You just can’t get a decent bowl of spaghetti in California,” Fisher said on the set of one of three movies she shot back to back here last week. “Show me a place where I can eat and maybe I’ll stay a little longer.”

You could not have a better celebrity porn crossover than if every one of those sexting cougar high school teachers teamed up for an oil orgy. No, Amy Fisher takes the cake.

We all know her story: she made a sex tape with her husband, Lou, in 2008, then her ex-boyfriend, Joey Buttafuoco, made one right after. Does it matter how they met back in the 80’s? Of course not.

But the real-live MILF (Fisher has actually given birth to children) who was once known as “The Long Island Lolita” is cashing in on her notoriety by jumping ass-over-tits into the porn world.

I asked her what the difference was, as she saw it, between sex at home and sex with the likes of porn dudes, including Evan Stone, Tommy Gunn, Danny Mountain, and Jack Lawrence.

“Any housewife knows what I’m talking about,” Fisher said. “It’s called acting. But with some of them I did more acting than with others…”

Fisher, at 5′2″, is a tiny but tough broad who doesn’t take shit from anybody. When she talks dirty, you get the feeling she’s going to back it up with a kick to the head if the goods aren’t delivered. At one point in her scene with Mountain, Fisher said, “Get it the fuck in there, Danny.”

So you can expect a visceral performance from Fisher. She brings a little “Amityville Horror” to this “Poltergeist”-y neighborhood of cookie-cutter McMansions.

“So you’re associating me with ‘The Amityville Horror’?” she says.

“Well, you’re on a really short list of things people know about Long Island,” I say. “There’s Billy Joel, Long Island Iced Tea, ‘The Great Gatsby’…”

“Let me get in the pool,” Fisher says. “I’m gonna fucking catch on fire out here. People shouldn’t live in this shit.”

You’re damn right, Amy Fisher. We should all listen and move back east.

In fact, there isn’t a single bit of advice Fisher gave us that we can’t apply elsewhere. I’m going to go home and get it the fuck in there.

Can it really be nearly 20 years since the names Amy Fisher and Joey Buttafuoco were part of the national discourse in the “The Long Island Lolita” case?

Believe it or not, Fisher – the teenager who shot Mary Jo Buttafuoco, the wife of her older lover, in the face—is now 35. She is married, a mom of three kids (ages 2, 5 and 9) and a porn actress to boot.

She and her husband, Louis Bellera, recently formed a production company and are making a trilogy of adult movies with Amy as the star. They got the idea after one of their sex tapes went viral in ’07.

“People bust my chops all day long,” Fisher kvetched to Entertainment Weeklyrecently. “People like you come in and torture me. That’s it. You know, everybody screws up in their life. I was a kid. What can I say?”

BTW, Amy says she’s only doing porn only for the bucks. (Thanks for clearing that up.)

“It’s like mobsters,” she said. “They make millions of dollars and then they go out and kill 10 people in the morning, and then they go to their little christening in the afternoon. I’m gonna do this twice a year, and in between, I sit at home with my kids. They don’t know [what she does for a living]. It’s like, we walk to the mailbox, there’s a check today. That’s how Mommy makes a living.”

Amy Fisher, known as the “Long Island Lolita”, launched an adult production company, and plans to produce as well as star in adult movies.
“Our society loves sex,” said Fisher in a statement, according to CNBC. “Sex is beautiful, powerful, and simply put, no one has the right to tell me what I can or can not do with my own private parts.”

Amy Fisher Productions aims to release four movies by the end of 2011. This year, Fisher will start producing and starring in movies for Dreamzone Entertainment.

Fisher has some experience as an adult-movie star. In 2008, her husband sold a video of the couple having sex to a porn company. Fisher sued the distributor, and eventually settled the case. The video sold over 200,000 copies.

Since then, Fisher has worked as a nude dancer and made a pay-per-view adult movie. Her next film will be called “The Making of Amy Fisher”.

Fisher first gained fame at the age of 17 when she shot and wounded her lover’s wife, earning herself the title of “Long Island Lolita.” She pleaded guilty to first-degree aggravated assault and served seven years in prison.

Wow, some people just have tabloid longevity. For a girl from Long Island, who had an affair with her mechanic then shot his wife in the face and went to prison, Amy Fisher is doing alright for herself.

If you consider “doing alright for herself” landing a 4-movie deal with Dreamzone Entertainment, an adult film production company.

There is precedence for this latest career choice: In 2007, a sex tape Amy made with her husband was “leaked” and sold over 200,000 copies. Not to mention that Joey Buttafuoco made his own porno back in the day, a thought that really just makes me nauseous.

The first of the four videos staring Amy will be aptly titled, The Making of Amy Fisher: Porn Star.

(Van Nuys, CA) – On August 4^th, 2010, Mary Jo Buttafuoco contacted journalist Nicole LaPorte, of The Daily Beast, in order to respond to a recent article about Amy Fisher’s career move to porn.

According to the article “Amy Fisher Kicked Me Off Her Porn Shoot” on TheDailyBeast.com, LaPorte had brought up Fisher’s past concerning Joey and Mary Jo Buttafuoco. Fisher responded with:

“People bust my chops all day long. People like you come in and torture me. That’s it. You know, everybody screws up in their life. I was a kid. What can I say?”

Fisher quickly ended the interview at that point to go relax. After an hour Jay Shanahan, the film’s director, told LaPorte she had made Fisher “uncomfortable,” and that she would like her to leave before the shoot began.

“Amy hates herself. What this is, is self-loathing. She can not forgive herself for what she did to me. And that’s sad. As a result of that, she’s gotten into this hostile environment.”

Fortunately for The Daily Beast, Mary Jo Buttafuoco read this article and decided to respond. Apparently, Fisher’s question “What can I say,” struck a nerve as Mary Jo reached out to LaPorte and claims Fisher should say “I’m sorry”. Yet, Mary Jo states she has already publicly forgiven Fisher. So why respond in the first place?

A follow up article “Mary Jo Buttafuoco Talks Back!” written by LaPorte, reveals Mary Jo’s true motive as she states how outraged she is Fisher is doing porn. Mary Jo believes once Fisher gave birth her life is no longer hers, it is her children’s’. This article is obviously a response about morals and a little ego as the closing statement by Mary Jo insists:

“Amy hates herself. What this is, is self-loathing. She can not forgive herself for what she did to me. And that’s sad. As a result of that, she’s gotten into this hostile environment.”

With claims like these the adult industry is gaining negative publicity. Whether it is for the money, as Fisher claims, or self-loathing, the public must be reminded the adult industry is not built on desperation.

Her introduction to the porn world was, initially, a seemingly involuntary one. After she married in 2003, her husband sold a sex video of the couple to a porn company two years ago. Fisher sued the distributor, claiming copyright infringement and other damages, but eventually settled the case.

Curiosity drove sales, with the video eventually selling over 200,000 copies, according to Fisher’s publicist. That seemed to spur Fisher’s curiosity in the adult industry. She has since moved into a career as a nude dancer and made a pay-per-view adult film of her own.

The adult entertainment industry has been struggling in recent years, besieged by Internet piracy and the recession. While it used to be virtually recession-proof, free porn has become so readily available online that people who would have bought an adult DVD five years ago are now spending that money on other things (like sex toys).

There are two areas in the adult film industry that have managed to thrive, though: Parody and celebrity. Porn parodies are red-hot, with Vivid’s “Batman XXX” (a spoof of the 60s TV show) having the right combination of camp and kink to catch the eye of buyers. The film’s two trailers garnered over 1 million views on YouTube and the DVD has topped sales charts for nearly two months.

America’s celebrity and tabloid obsession, though, has kept the sex acts of the rich and famous as hot sellers. Porn giant Vivid Entertainment is the reigning king of this subgenre, releasing sex films starring “Girls Next Door” star Kendra Wilkinson, country singer Mindy McCready and alleged Tiger Woods mistress Joslyn James over the past year.

Fisher’s role as both producer and star is somewhat rare in the porn industry, which is largely male dominated. Generally, women who run their own companies are industry veterans, who have established a loyal following of fans and have a little leverage with porn houses.

Dreamzone Entertainment is a small player in the adult industry, however. Its biggest title to date was a parody of the ABC sitcom “Roseanne”. By signing with a smaller company, Fisher was likely better able to sign on her own terms – likely getting a bigger royalty on sales as well.
